Anthropic Launches Claude Marketplace with 2,000+ AI Plugins

More than 2,000 connectors and plugins are already available in Anthropic’s newly public Claude Marketplace, the company announced in a blog post.

Anthropic’s marketplace: breadth and intent

Anthropic described Claude Marketplace as a single place for “AI-related tools,” bringing together plugins, connectors, agents, and other offerings. The company said the marketplace is public and already lists in excess of 2,000 connectors and plugins from a mix of vendors. Named integrations include Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Notion, and Salesforce, among others — underscoring that third parties, not Anthropic alone, are supplying large portions of the catalog.

Anthropic framed the marketplace as more than a convenience: the company said the goal is to make it easier for teams to discover products that already work with Claude, while giving developers and partners a direct way to reach existing Claude customers.

Third‑party agents and commercial products

Beyond connectors and plugins, Anthropic is offering Claude‑powered agents and commercial products from partner firms. The blog post listed CrowdStrike, Cursor, Harvey, Legora, Lovable, and Snowflake as examples of offerings customers can buy that are powered by Claude. Anthropic said companies selling Claude‑powered software can apply to have their products listed in the marketplace.

Developer tooling: Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent Skills

Anthropic is opening the platform to developers by allowing anyone to publish products. Developers can create connectors and plugins using two named mechanisms: Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent Skills. The company explicitly contrasted that open‑publish approach with earlier marketplace efforts, noting that “we have seen similar problems when OpenAI launched an apps marketplace. It didn't work out, and Anthropic wants to avoid that mistake” by permitting a broad set of publishers.

Consulting and systems integration partners: Accenture, BCG, Deloitte

The marketplace also includes consulting and systems integration partners for enterprises that want deployment help. Anthropic named Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, and Deloitte as consulting and systems integration partners available through the marketplace, indicating an intention to link software listings with services for adoption at scale.

What this means for developers, procurement teams, and enterprise IT

  • Developers: Anthropic has provided MCP and Agent Skills as the technical entry points and is permitting broad publication, giving developers a direct path to reach Claude customers by listing connectors and plugins.
  • Procurement teams and enterprise IT: The presence of major app vendors (Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Notion, Salesforce) alongside consulting partners (Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte) creates a combined catalog of tools and services that, Anthropic says, should make discovery and deployment easier for teams already using Claude.
  • Security and product partners: Firms that sell Claude‑powered products — exemplified by CrowdStrike, Harvey, Snowflake, and others named by Anthropic — can apply to have their commercial offerings listed, potentially simplifying purchase and integration paths for customers.

Anthropic noted that Claude has long allowed users to connect more of the apps they already use, and characterized the marketplace as taking those capabilities “beyond basic integrations” in a way the company likened to a Google Play Store for AI‑related features. Anthropic also made the marketplace accessible from its website and encouraged users to try it there.

The marketplace announcement page additionally carried a promotional invitation to a two‑hour digital summit featuring Mikko Hyppönen and security leaders from the NFL, CHANEL, and Atlassian, focused on “what AI‑speed attacks change” and how defenders should validate and fix at machine speed.

Anthropic’s launch establishes a centralized storefront that combines open publishing, named enterprise partners, and a large initial catalog. Whether that mix turns into a durable commercial marketplace — the company itself acknowledged past difficulties for similar efforts — will be visible only as developers, partners, and customers use the marketplace and list products over time. You can try Claude’s marketplace on Anthropic’s website.
